But to answer your latter question, aiui the gearbox has an element of electronic control which has the capability to adjust (for the changing viscosity?) as the fluid ages. However if you don't reset, then after a while it'll learn for itself anyway.

Is that for both the "new fluid reset" and "resetting the adaptions"? cause ideally they both need to be done.....
