Default Potential purchase of a 2007 volvo s60 d5 185

Hi as a previous volvo owner and forum member I thought I would ask people's thoughts on a potential purchase of a 2007 s60 d5 185, the car has covered 133k with plenty of service history and sounds to be quite a nice old car, no major damage anywhere, 2 keys, cambelt was changed at 53k so I'm guessing it's probably due another, fresh mot with only a tyre on the advisory, car was advertised at £1595 but I've managed to negotiate down to £1250,rare manual car, what do I need to check for people, I test drove another last night and was suprised by just how powerful it was, to be honest all it seemed to want to do was wheelspin, it was an auto, I previously test drove an earlier 163 and although it wasn't slow it was nowhere near as powerful, one thing I did note was how good the engine sounds when getting revved, almost t5 like, I can only imagine what a remapped one goes like, is this a good idea or not, people's views would be greatly appreciated, I was a forum member many years ago but lost my login details, I previously had a phase 1.5 s40 volvo t4 which apart from a bsr optiflow air filter and lowering springs was totally standard and showed a standard focus st 225 a clean pair of heels on the motorway, one thing I noticed about the later s60 models is just what a lovely well equipped place to be they are, volvo seats have always been good, one thing I did notice was the appalling turning circle, it was easier turning an 8 wheeler around!!
