Yep - I know of Irv Gordon too.
Amazing that the original camshaft, for example, is not worn outside of allowable range -- at all. Incredible really.

Castrol GTX 10w30 (manual's viscosity spec) was the first choice I had/have.
Just can't find that.

I understand the more resistant it is to thinning, then the higher the second number (10W-40 versus 10W-30, for example). Ultimately my understanding is that is a good thing, right ?..
Because within reason, thicker oil generally seals better and maintains a better film of lubrication between moving parts.

I guess cold climes such as Scotland would make 20w50 about perfect in that case?
..London winter is some-may-say 'softer' (unless coastal..anyway that's a debate for another day)
..so thinking the 10w40 Fuchs or similar be the goods!
