I completely agree,you would have thought a drive belt failure causing the cambelt to go would have the volvo design team come up with at least some sort of bolt on fix,is there any feedback on the bolt on cambelt protector accessory someone devised and sold them on here,or is it still early days yet,i am a bit jittery even though i have replaced both belts and tensioners etc,because i'm on 276k miles i am thinking maybe it would be wise to replace the air con pump for a less mileage one in case that went.
