What about the AOC filter and fluid and the rear diff fluid? What's your opinion for these? Are the fluids there also synthetic?
Volvo have always used the very highest quality transmission oils that helps them to last as long as they do , Even old 850's ( and my old 340 ) with 250,000 + miles are still happily running around on their original oil . So as long as it is dry and topped up no need to worry
The AOC filter isnt an issue unless you have a 2010 onwards where something in the oil can cause a gel to form , you will get a fault message if this is a problem . The pump is easy to get off and unblock the strainer attached to it .
