Not sure if the knocking was/is the same as I have but no or little knocking when loaded, not problem over speed humps or rocking the car but a lot just after hitting a pot hole or bump in the road.
This turned out to be one of the top mounts split, took ages to find it. which was found after a tip run and the back seats still down. could see the rear floor just behind the rear seats bounce with the knocking. Otherwise would still be looking.
