You're up against it trying to this sadly. I can completely appreciate why you want to. I bought an SE trim T5 purely to get the lip spoiler then retrofitted the lower bodykit to get the look I wanted.

here you'll unfortunately see that the shopping trolley spoiler you have is drilled through the bootlid. As it's footprint is larger than the lip spoiler (which I think is simply bonded to the bootlid with double-sided tape) you'll end up with at least one visible hole through the metal at each side of the bootlid :-(
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Best bet would be to purchase a bootlid in the same colour as yours from a non-sport or R-Design model and swap them over, then installing the lip spoiler. I have doubts that Volvo will still supply the OEM one but a number of aftermarket ones are likely available and Heico and
Elevate used to make lip spoilers for the S40.
