We need a sticky thread with a guide to who's who. I just can't think of a catchy phrase to name it.
Each entry should look something like this:
blueosprey90 --- Jeff ---- '57 PV444 - New Milford, Connecticut - USA.
On a B4-B16 Facebook page, Eldon H., who I think might be arcturus on these boards, posted some nice underside photos and pointed out that I was missing some spring clips. Another fellow, Toje C. (who I don't think is here) posted up the part number.
The spring clips are part 659682 and go for $2.32 each, so not expensive.
Now, if you are referring to the brake cable though, I couldn't figure out what cable to buy. The part for my '57 doesn't seem to be available. I didn't know whether to buy older 444 cables or newer 555 cables. I didn't want to order a pair only to have to return them.
Now that I have it off, I'll post up a picture and the community can help me decide.
