Good point Mark - i was in "7xx mode" but you can still get secondhand 740/760 Workshop Manuals which in fairness would be a good start :

Covers probably about 90% of the stuff on the 9xx models except the glass sunroof (which is similar to the steel one anyway), the Bosch ABS-2E ABS system introduced around 92/3 time, the Turbo+ system and probably a few other bits. The Service and Repair manual should cover those things so would be a handy back-up but the older 7xx Workshop Manual would cover most of the things on a 9xx in much better detail.
