That may well be the case for aftermarket kits, but the Volvo electric kits definitely
do support battery charging. BMW have an issue with not supporting by default on uk-spec cars, but Volvo do the right thing and wire up all 12 of the pins (1 pin is reserved in the ISO spec for 'future requirements').
