Had this on my s60 MY14 solved it with a can of spray lithium grease. Volvo wanted £365 as it was failing according to them.
Anyway get a can of wd40 spray lithium grease with the smart straw. (The flip up one available most places including halfrauds) open the door and look at the locking mechanism. Remove the two upper torx bolts and feed the straw into the holes. You will feel a bit of reaistance. This is the straw bending against the back of the lock. Spray a load of grease in there. Put the bolts back in and leave it for a min or so. Then lock and unlock a few times.
This is what I did with mine and it’s been sound for about 6 months or more now.
