Hi All,

I am trying to find out if the brake light failure warning system on a 1995 440 is a separate unit, or just components on the back of the dashboard instrument panel. If possible, I would like to transfer the unit to a different car that doesn't have such a system.
I have followed the wiring loom from the dashboard warning light across behind the dashboard to behind the glove box, but so far I have been unable to locate anything that looks like it might be the unit in question. Does anyone know the answer to this and where such a unit is located?
