At 6:30 I undo the main connector for the blower, then the small under cover (might need to remove 1-2 securing screws but not all the blower screws). Once these out, you can notice the second connector still attached: it's the connector from the resistor - simply remove it and connect your test resistor in place, then put back the main blower connector as well and give it a try
