Derek, the EZ unit is probably made for a exibition and not useable. I cannot understand the long shaft at steering wheel end. There was a change from 73. The two pins at the collapsable unit was moved from steering gear shaft (lower shaft) to steering column shaft. On my 73 the stering wheel nut sits very deep in the steering wheel so the shaft is short.
