Not sure which info is incorrect, but if you have better information, fair enough. I would clarify that the parkers applies to the whole of the Mk 1 XC90, while Dexter specifically asked about a 2004.
This may be of interest to you. Not an official source, just other musings of someone from the internet, but it corroborates some of the Parkers information that not "all mark1 diesel XC90's in the UK are D5's"

For Dexter22, the info in the Honest John link, may be useful to you as it appears to discuss a little about the engine characteristics, assuming Truckbus doesn't disagree with the information.
Assuming the info in that post is correct, the original question identified a 2004 car, which as Truckbus states should all be the same D5's, with the same power output and may be a typo in the advert description.
