This was a two stage recall . the first stage earlier in the year involved adding a cable tie to the hose as a back up in case the standard plastic stay broke and the rubber hose drifted into the fan blades..
This wasnt satisfactory in some cases so now the second stage is to add a proper metal bracket and clamp , as it should have been before it left the factory of course ...
The main problem is that someone ( Ford no doubt) re designed a perfectly good fan in 2007 and left the blades exposed on the engine side , previously they were guarded by a plastic grid ...
If the hose is marked by the blades it will get replaced .
