But…. If you tow or a taxi where it’s a high use box the dealer will service at 52k if memory serves so therefore not sealed for life. The one excuses it’d disturb contaminants in the box and could potentially damage it which just tells me exactly what I said…. They’re not interested full stop. I don’t blame this attitude in Volvo U.K. directly but it’s the Dealers dodging something that’s potentially a risk to them.

Well the handfull of dealers I know and most others should not hesitate in doing an oil change , It is always beneficial and never in my 40 years of dealing with auto gearboxes has an oil change caused any bother.
