The problem with the B16b is that the rear carb sits almost on top of the intersection of the four exhaust ports manifold and get's extremely hot,in fact so hot that at times I can barely touch it! causing the cork to dry out. The ones I need to replace are my second seal sets. I normally soak them for a couple of days in oil!Since this pic' I have fitted a heat shield which helps a little.
