When mine was AWD last winter it was great - not as good as my quattros but then I can't fit a wardrobe in them!
Since the angle gear threw it's dummy out of the pram it's nothing like as good even with the light snowfall that we had this year, in fact a couple of weeks back I came pretty close to losing it on an icy roundabout.
I've got an angle gear from a '97 V70 which after 4 hours struggle I've found doesn't fit my car, so if anybody's interested.....
