I don’t think it has anything to do with being Swedish - all to do with door rubbers getting wet and then freezing together in adverse weather conditions. All manufacturers vehicles will suffer with this issue.
All it takes is some preventative measures as has already been mentioned in previous posts a couple of times during the autumn and winter months and there shouldn’t be any problems.
I have used Autoglym Vinyl & Rubber Spray on all my door & bonnet rubbers for a number of years and have never had a problem.
