Picked up the Genuine Volvo Battery on Saturday, it dropped straight in - perfect fit, all I did was give the Parts Dept. my reg number and they sourced the correct battery for me - can't recommend Volvo enough in this respect.
My mother's battery on her car also shorted out last week - less than 2 years old and branded "Trade Club Battery" - was fitted by a local Garage. I went and got a nice Yuasa Battery and fitted that for her.
