Mike chose the modified turbo oil return pipe as whilst we had the block apart for the rebuild he was able to thread the fitting into the block and then making a pipe up was very easy, and it worked out less than buying the pipe from volvo.

On the next 240 turbo I helped do, we used the standard volvo oil return line, but we dropped the engine into the car complete with turbo attached. I think space may make it a complete ball ache to remove or refit. But until that pipe starts to leak on said 240 then i don't know how much of a ball ache it will be.
