If you do end up replacing the sensor it is very hard to remove on the 940, expect allot of hammering and pointy things. Not sure about 960.

Do clean out the hole well and do not turn the sensor to align the securing bolt, align it first. I did this and broke my replacement, but it was ony a £20 unit.
