I don't have VIDA, but I'll be asking Volvo to do this when they have it in for servicing next month. Unless the problem returns before that.

Surely these 'power conditioning' elements would be part of the CEM module? However I wouldn't be surprised if this was a power or comms glitch, possibly heat-related, possibly software?

In total, my car was running yesterday for over 6 hours without any sign of problems. Around half of that was stationary and idling, nevertheless the electronics were powered up and fully operational for the whole time.
