The initial problem returned, in full force... infotainment system unresponsive, all dash warning lights on, central locking/windows/mirrors inoperative, heater doing its own thing, various doom-laden messages appearing on the dash, etc.
However - unlike last month - leaving the battery disconnected overnight has not provided any relief. I will be calling Volvo later today...
