Re the water loss, good news that it has stopped. You are wise to make frequent checks in case of more water loss. If it were me I'd ask myself why over pressurisation was suspected, I'd check the header tank pressure cap get it tested, carefully inspect all hoses (I change my car's hoses especially including heater hoses every four or five years.) and next time I were near a friendly garage I'd get a pressure test, and, get the header tank sniffed for exhaust gas. It is a matter of proper caution if a problem, goes away. Those such problems do tend to return....
