There are so many things it could be!
On my list so far:
Swirl Solenoid Valve
O2 Sensor
Alternator Fly Wheel sticking (this was a suggestion from the diagnosis part of VIDA after selecting the symptoms, along with 'check fuses'
)
Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter (although i've read this isn't something that ever needs replacing, which seems strange...)
The bit that is baffling me is that once it's stalled, and i restart the car it's then fine, and will quite happily complete the rest of the journey, even if its a couple of hundred miles without issue.
I've noted that it happens once the engine has warmed up, ie got to temp.
The only thing that happened differently this morning when I was driving to work was that 'Reduced Engine Performance' briefly flashed up on the dash, which hopefully means there will be a DTC code for me to look at tonight when I get home and get VIDA hooked up. Hopefully that will give me some pointers. Hopefully.
