Not everyone lives on a big long hill.

Think you will find that most people will agree with you that you cannot accurately go by the trip computer to get exact figures, although I think you will find that the trip computer is not a million miles out either?

I know my trip computer is pretty accurate and certainly within 1 to 2mpg, even the estimated miles left in tank are approx within 10 to 15miles accurate over the space of a tank.
