Absolute shower of ****.......to be blunt. Tried to remove private plate online but had to make a paper application. Ok, not the end of the world. Application took 7 and 1/2 weeks to process. Again not normally an issue BUT I could not get a refund for my car that I returned 9 weeks ago to the dealer because Doves Gatwick was no V5 no refund........
Called the DVLA call centre which offered no advice or help whatsoever. Apparently my application was sat in a pile of other applications and would be processed eventually. Not very helpful when you have no car nor the money to buy another.
