This had happened to mine. I cut the hose in two where the crack was and inserted a piece of metal tube (cut from an old tent frame I found in my grandparents garage, but could probably use the bends you get for plumbing) and fastened it with hoseclips. No problems since and much easier than replacing the whole hose
