For reference: I was able to get images posted by uploading them to a free image host - imgur.com or Google search "free image host".
Once uploaded you'll get a link. Copy it to your clipboard.
When typing your post the 5th icon from the right is how you add the image (yellow with what looks like mountains). Click it, paste your link.
Voila!
