If you get your head in the drivers footwell with a torch and look on the bulkhead above the accelerator pedal, you'll see a 4-way grommet - throttle and bonnet release cables go through it leaving a couple of spares, perfect for the changeover switch/gauge cable.
Nice, neat looking job under the bonnet too!
