I reckon the issue with having to swap over the grille is to do with the different Decor Panel option packs. They are:
- Part No. 31470050, For cars with... mechanically adjustable driver's and passenger's seat or electrically powered seat without memory [neither config sold in the UK]
- Part No. 31470051, For cars with... electrically adjustable driver's and passenger's seat [not standard on Momentum]
I suspect that your car (and mine) is neither of these as the UK Momentum is a combination of both the above unless you specify an electrically adjustable passenger seat. I reckon you got Part No. 31470051 which included a cutout for the passenger side electric seat that therefore wasn't required. What was actually needed was the passenger side inlay from the other pack. Or have I completely misunderstood?
It's got me wondering if my dealer knows about this. Do you happen to have the part numbers that you got?
