yes for road use but for competition when you have to be brutal, .... questionable . The weak spot on the 360 is the clamp at the back connecting the shaft to the gearbox input shaft . I had to change a few of these even on road cars when the 360 was current , but the vast majority of 360 road cars never had a problem .
I'd go for an Alfa 75 transaxle which also incorporates the clutch and flywheel so you can use a normal type ( strong) proshaft and connect it directly to an automatic gearbox type drive plate bolted to the engine via a rotoflex type coupling as per alfa 75 ,3 litre . , even better weight distribution and no bulkhead body mods needed !
