WOW that's a surprise, I think you are well within your rights to reject the car, if you feel you should, on the grounds that its a material change in the product. Which was a large enough change for you to make the decision to go for the Drive as opposed to the D5 !!
That should have been made much more clear to you, as soon as they knew!!
