As far as i know, there is no seat belt warning switch in the seat on the drivers side as the system assumes if you have put the key in, you're sat in the seat - however there is a buckle switch to cancel the warning and also illumination on some models of the seat belt buckle.

I am trying to source an original plug with tail. If unavailable, I will hard wire it with spade terminals and fill the seat end of the plug with sikaflex (as recommended by another member on here.
