Only the new style V70's and S60's suffer this problem with the 225/45/17 tyres. The older V70 uses thinner tyres.

Bridgestones will wear down quite dramatically as they're very soft. I've got Continentals on mine at the moment which are brilliant but a wee bit noisy.

MyTyres currently have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 in 225/45/17 for £77.30 each including delivery. - Bargain.
