Morning, someone ran into the back of my V40 and the insurance company has written it off.
The damage is to the back bumper (photo below).
The chap who assessed it said he thought it would be OK to drive away (but obviously would need a repair before using regularly), wondered if anyone would like it before I scrap it?
Good Points:
Nice wheels, need a refurb but 3 have OK Kumho tyres and the other one is a good brand too.
Drove fine prior to accident.
Rare colour.
Have roof rails (need new fixings though) and metal dog guard
Bad Points:
Overdue a service
Marks on front seat from when a coke can exploded (probably come out with a wash but I haven't bothered)
Badly damaged back bumper.
Some small marks but paintwork is in quite decent condition for a 2000 car.
Car is located in Reading.
I would like £220 OVNO.
Would much rather it was repaired but haven't got the time or ability so if it doesn't go quickly will just be scrapped sadly.
