I would drive via (G) Hamburg-Flensburg-(DK)Kolding-Kopenhavn-(till here only bridges) - Helsingoer/Helsingborg (ferry, you have to pay, cash or credit card. You won't need a reservation.)) (S)- Goeteborg. (I don't like the bridge from Kopenhavn to Malmoe. Expensive toll required)
The second way is to the north of Denmark and the ferry from Frederikshavn to Goeteborg. Expensive and you will need a reservation.
In Sweden there is only one way to pay: With credit-card! No cash, cash is a no-no in sweden. Check in front the validation of your card in sweden.
No permits or stickers till now. Only the GB on the back or the europian number plate with the GB in blue on the plate.
