Thanks for the advice. I’m already on with the two stroke method, tried it in an attempt to clear the fumes from the exhaust.
Unfortunately, despite my best attempts, my drive resembles a Cher video every time I start her up, hence the fuel pump timing diagnosis.
I will, however, continue to use the two stroke after all the work is complete. One thing though, doesn’t this get very expensive?
My mechanic couldn’t believe how straight, rot free and comfortable the car was when he picked it up this morning. It’s looking like I’ll get this A1 and on the road for sub 1k which in my eyes is just unbelievable value for money.
