Confirmed we had the same sloshing with our '59 plate XC60. Puzzled over it for a long time and never quite believed it was the screen as we couldn't see anything even with home water testing, also we never really found the carpets were wet, though perhaps we didn't go deep enough down. But once we found out about the "known problem" with XC60 screen bonding then we got it to a screen specialist.
