Yes, nice bikes.

But I wouldn't have swapped my 400 Four for one. (Now, that's one of those things I wouldn't mind having back.)

Me too! Had a CB350 for a while and a couple of 400/4 and a 550/4 but i always hankered after those 450 twins. Lots of US imports.. my XS650 was a US import and had loads of wiring issues plus had to have new carbs and exhausts.. but was great fun for the nearly 20 years i had it

Yes, the 400/4 was a very good motorcycle, but there is something special about the 450 - it being Japan's first go at the big bike market. the 1960s version (the Black Bomber) would perhaps be the best model in this respect, but the 1970s ones were considerably improved and generally sell for half as much. In about 5 years the 1970s bikes will occupy the Black Bomber's current position in the market and will appreciate by about 100%, so acquiring one now might be a good idea - and a lot of fun.
