Default Weird rattle/scraping sound

Hello, new to owning a Volvo and have a bit of concern with a noise.

Purchased a 70’ Plate XC60 and it’s only covered 34.5k so far from main dealer. On startup if I tap the throttle there is a horrible rattle/scraping sound coming from what I can sus out drivers wheel/engine bay but will settle and disappear once the revs have dropped to idle and won’t appear when tapping the throttle. However during motion if I put the throttle on ever so slightly it’s there throughout all the gears unless I put my foot down more and it disappears and all you can hear is the turbo whirring around.
There’s also a sound of clicking/clunking if the wheels are locked either side and I’m coming to a stop. Brake pads and discs are fine with no obvious damage or wear, brake disc shield isn’t catching and can’t see anything in the engine bay or wheel arches that would be catching or shouldn’t be there.
Got an appointment with main dealer on 6th June but having to pay out for a diagnostic fee first. Just wondering if anyone’s had anything similar or know what it could possibly be

More information required, for example; diesel or petrol (or other?). Manual or auto ? Etcetera.

Perhaps be aware of subsequent damage from belt/s, pulleys, tensioners if car continues to be driven ?

Sorry would’ve been sensible to put that info in. It’s an auto AWD B5 Petrol MHEV.
I got my other half to do a cold start up and tap the throttle so I could listen under the bonnet and from what I can sense from where the sound seems the loudest it seems to be coming from the area in the picture (where it seems rusted). This part is right at the back of the engine (closest to the windscreen) in the centre of the engine. Not sure if this is where the electric motor as part of the MHEV is connected in or not?

It's likely from the loose plastic trim around your rear view mirror

Sadly not 😩. It’s an external noise. Had a Volvo tech go over it today quickly and showing codes for turbo waste gate and he’s saying it needs a new turbo in his opinion. Thankfully still have a warranty to cover it.
