2015 V60 D4 Bogging On Takeoff
Hey Everyone!
I've been trying to look into this as it's the only real thing letting the car down, it's been a trooper otherwise! I've found that when taking off from a standstill, the car likes to either bog down or overrev with almost the exact same throttle and clutch input. It feels as if there's an intended significant delay between pressing the pedal and it doing anything I've seen a few places offering throttle tuning, would that mitigate this, or is there perhaps an underlying issue that needs looked at? Whether this is related or not, car likes to buck at lower rpm's when holding the throttle still, happens more so when it's cold but happens when up to temp too. Edit - Forgot to mention there's no error codes or anything of the sort Thanks! |

Is this the 4 cylinder D4, if so had a very similar fault on a V60 with the VEA engine. The inlet manifold and throttle body were heavily clogged with carbon build up from the egr. Could well be worth a clean out.
