BW35 Autobox propshaft wanted
I'm looking for a propshaft in good condition for my '87 240GLT saloon fitted with a Borg Warner 35 autobox. Health reasons force me to reluctantly convert to autobox, I have already acquired the rest of the kit. I cannot collect as I live in France but I have an adress in the UK to which it could be sent and friends who can bring it over to me.
Many thanks. |

Boite a vitesses...
Are you sure it's a BW35? I thought it would be a AW70 with overdrive. I also think that the prop from a manual '87 car may be the same length.

Lakes of Wyboston have at least one 240 with an auto box which may still have a propshaft on it - try t hem on 01480 212291
Like Mark said, unless you have specifically sourced that BW35, Volvos of that vintage had 4-speed AW boxes |

If the box you do it is the BW35 then I would recommend looking for a newer box as they drive better and use less fuel
