V40 Bonnet in Bamboo Green (348)
Hi
I signed up a while back when I bought my first Volvo and it's been so good I've never had a need to visit the forum. I used the jetwash on it today. What a waste of time. It took a good chunk of paint of the bonnet. Experience tells me a replacement used bonnet is the most cost-effective route but I think it's an unusual colour. Thanks in advance for any replies... If it comes to that I'll just DIY it until a decent bonnet comes up on here or ebay - I paid £300 tidying up my old car just to help sell it and that was only a few months ago...
The annoying thing is I haven't used a jetwash in years. I was lazy and paid the price. |

that could happen to anyone matt ,the original factory paint isn't brilliant for some reason. i got lil blister marks on my roof n boot were the laquer is comming off, luckily for me i did the bonnet cost of paint only as i help him out now and then.hope you sort it i know how annoying it can be.a german camper van reversed into me on paignton sea front and his storage box smashed my headlamp bonnet and twisted my slam panel to my suprise he offered me £500 quid there n then saved insurance claims i guess,it's all but sorted now just waiting for my headlamp from fat tony.it took a while to get the slam panel straight again thou grrrrr,it was one of those bizzare accident's and my heart was in my mouth sounded worse than it was.
