Default Rubber pipe diameter

Hi, I want to replace any vacuum/ fuel pipes on my 2.3 LPT 940(1996 model).
Without taking pipes off, has anybody any idea of the internal diameters of the pipes?
In particular the fuel pressure regulator pipe, about 25cm long, which is showing wear at both ends.
The oe Volvo part seems expensive for a short rubber tube.
Thanks for any advice.

I just changed the steel fuel line to the filter and the return. There 8mm outside diameter if its any help. If your replacing rubber fuel lines then they have to be ethanol resistant. I think its SAEJ30R9 High Pressure Line is recommended. There is SAEj30R6 but I think the R9 is high pressure. You can buy it by the metre at most motor factors or online.

Thanks for the info, especially about the fuel line spec.
I would have just bought silicone rubber tubing in the right size, but just shows how careful you have to be when messing with fuel systems!
Thanks again.
Paul.

Do you mean this hose and the smaller one attached to the back of the fuel regulator?

I replaced those two with 7.3mm ID R10 fuel hose (100% compatible with m/ethanol):

8mm silicone hose for the brake booster (tried 9.5mm ID but it was a bit loose on the plastic check valve).

I use 3mm silicone hose for all the small lines, it has the same wall thickness as 4mm.

Hi, it is a pipe at the front of the fpr about 1cm thick.
I'll see if I can work out where it goes and get back to you.
Thanks.
