grinding when brakes are on, occasional resistance
Hi, I have a 1999 V70. When I brake I get a graunching noise which I assumed was pads discs. Have replaced then but noise still there. Now I get occasional resistance on the brake pedal.
The noise is not entirely rhythmical, but not unlike ABS kicking in , although happens with gentle braking. There are no warning lights coming on. We are thinking either servo or ABS, but I don't want to spend too much trying to find the fault. Any thoughts much appreciated. Richard |

While I would endorse 'ITSv40's advice, 'keithy1959', my money would be on a sticking piston or pistons. On the other hand, it could just be the new pads / discs 'bedding in'.
Regards, John.
