Default V70 2.5 Tdi Classic retro fit cruise control

How expensive/difficult is it to retro fit cruise control to V70 2.5 diesel Tdi Classics?

Thanks in advance.

If it's an automatic I have read on here somewhere that it's just a case of fitting the cruise control stalk then getting a Volvo dealer to reprogramme the ecu , All the other parts needed are already fitted

If you find someone that can do the reprogramming at less than Volvo main stealer prices give me a shout as I'm just down the road in sunny Merthyr

Hi!
I am faced with the same idea. So: you need an indicator switch with cruise control buttons & ECM with a cruise control feature.

You can buy used ECM as well.

The pedal switches are also built in (upper on clutch & brake pedal).
As fair I as know, you need a good ABS module, without ABS light, or CC will deactivated because of safety features.

I have a 98' V70, also with manual transmission. I retro fitted everything, and today I changed the ABS module as well. However, is still not working... I will try different ECM & indicator switch.
