Default Footwell Blower Settings

Hello. Please could anyone give me advice on how to set the blower controls to the footwells of my 2010 xc60d se. My passenger enjoys the blower to the footwell on her side but I dont want it blowing on my drivers side. Where are the shut offs, are they mechanical or computer set. Thanks.

My dog does an excellent job of shutting off the airflow in any car I've owned....however this wouldn't be advisable for the driver's side.

My old Rover 90 (circa 1963) had shutters so one could stop air flow into the foot wells.

Audi's do have separate air flow distribution for passenger and driver. One thing I do miss, but probably the only one.

As does Volvo - you can have different temps for driver and passenger as they have separate supplies, what you can't do is manually turn the footwell down or redirect as you can with the face vents - I guess it is like the screen as you cannot manually adjust that either.
